Ghosts, Zombies and movie lovers! I have splendid news that you’ll want to mark in your anticipation calendars. The Dead Inside has a DVD release date! Get out your red sharpie and circle NOVEMBER 20th, 2012. As of right now this is only for DVD. We are still waiting to here our dates for video on demand.

Thanks to Monarch Home Entertainment, you’ll all be able to experience this labor of love we have hummed lovingly to for 2 years now. You’ll finally get to see why all the festivals wanted it and showered us in fun awards like, BEST PICTURE, BEST ACTRESS, BEST SCORE, BEST ART DIRECTION!

The Dead Inside scorched through Alaska taking top prize at the Anchorage Film Festival. The Golden Oosik. What is a Oosik? I’m glad you asked. It’s a Walrus Penis bone. Yup. Apparently they are found along the coast and are very rare. So here I hold in my hands a rare walrus shaft. The perfect way to end our year of festivals! Anchorage was an incredible fest with incredible people. The Dead Inside is honored to accept this award. As I have said at many of the fests in which we have won, it is truly incredible when a genre film is recognized and even more wonderful when it is honored as the best amongst the other dramatic flicks. Next stop…distribution!

Killer Award

The Dead Inside continues to pick up awards as it travels around the globe delightfully spooking audiences. TDI recently rocked the Killer Film Festival in Boston and was honored with both best score and best sound design. It’s great to see the work of David Bewely, Michael Brake, Brian Rice and Joel Van Vliet noticed. They had the challenge of making our weird little tale sound amazing both musically and design-wise and they knocked it out of the park. Thanks to Michael Vallier and the Killer crew for programming us and honoring us with these awards.

Or at least so says this reviewer from Film Radar. We haven’t had many reviews for the film yet (since it’s not available to the public) so when we come across people who thought this much of the movie we are tickled with bloody joy. Check out the review of the movie HERE!

3 Shrieks for WINNERS!

The Dead Inside continued to collect the trophies last Sunday night when it picked up best Supernatural Feature Film at the 11th annual Shriekfest Awards. This is the second win at Shriekfest for the Drexel Box crew, picking up the Audience Choice Award two years ago with the demon love story, LO. Thank you to all the judges and especially Denise Gossett for putting on such a kick ass horror festival. We were honored to screen and to meet all the great filmmakers that were a part of a the fest. Now if you’ll excuse me, we have to make a little more room on the mantle. Go THE DEAD INSIDE!

Santa Fe, We’re on our way!

New Mexico called me. Apparently the entire state just can’t get enough of our singing ghosts. So the entire state got together with the Santa Fe Independent Film Festival and invited us back to screen once more! Don’t be a New Mexican’t, be a New Mexican! Come and see THE DEAD INSIDE , October 20-23rd (screening date yet to be determined).

Our ghosts and zombies are limping (and floating) East so they can screen our film at the CARNAGE Film Festival in Wilmington, North Carolina. The Albuquerque Film Festival was one of the first fests to stand up and take notice of our unique little film. A representative saw our film at the Durango Film Fest and it was all love from there. The cast and crew is honored to be screening here, but the fun doesn’t stop at just a screening. No sir (or Ma’am). Our actors will be performing the hit single THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE live on stage before the movie! For the first time ever see a piece of this soon to be cult hit LIVE! If you live in the New Mexico area or are crazy enough to get yourself there, then I command you to be there, August 18th at 7:00pm at the Lobo Theater in Albuquerque. Tickets can be purchased HERE!
